First Act Atelier – Return & Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with First Act Atelier. We design each piece to inspire confidence and creativity, and we want you to love what you wear. Please read the following policy carefully before making your purchase.


No Returns, Only Exchanges

  • Returns are not accepted. All sales are final.

  • We happily offer exchanges on eligible items within 14 days of your purchase date.

Eligibility for Exchange

To qualify for an exchange, your item must meet all of these conditions:

  • Exchanged within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery (based on carrier tracking).

  • Item is in unworn, unwashed, undamaged condition with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.

  • You provide complete proof of purchase (order number, packing slip, or invoice).

How to Initiate an Exchange

  1. Contact us at contact@firstactatelier.com within 14 days of delivery.

  2. In your message, include:

    • Your order number

    • The item(s) you wish to exchange (style name, size, and color)

    • The replacement item(s) you’d like (style name, size, and color)

  3. Our Customer Care team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with an Exchange Authorization and shipping instructions.

  4. Pack securely in the original packaging (if possible) along with the Exchange Authorization form.

  5. Ship your package to the address provided.

Shipping & Costs

  • Outbound shipping (to you): First Act Atelier covers the cost of sending your new item(s) for one exchange per order.

  • Return shipping (to us): You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective (see below).

  • We recommend using a trackable carrier; First Act Atelier is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments sent without tracking.

International Exchanges

  • We ship and exchange worldwide.

  • Customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees on the return shipment are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Replacement shipments from First Act Atelier will be sent duties paid wherever permitted; otherwise, you may be billed locally.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Email photos of the damage or defect plus your proof of purchase to contact@firstactatelier.com.

  • We will arrange a prepaid return shipment and send you a replacement (subject to availability) or issue a store credit.

Out-of-Stock & Store Credit

  • If your requested replacement is out of stock, you may choose to:

    • Exchange for another item of equal or lesser value, or

    • Receive a First Act Atelier e-gift card for the full amount paid.

Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items cannot be exchanged:

  • Final-sale collaborations, limited editions, or special-release items explicitly marked as “Final Sale.”

  • Intimates, swimwear, hosiery, and accessories that come into direct contact with skin (for hygiene reasons).

  • Gift cards and e-gift certificates.

Right to Refuse

First Act Atelier reserves the right to refuse any exchange that does not comply with this policy.
